While in Vancouver, Stephenie Meyer sat down with The Globe and Mail. This interview is only a teaser of the full interview, which I assume will probably come out closer to The Host‘s release date. We will update this page when the full interview is posted.
Stephenie was skeptical of how to make the novel into a film. Producer Nick Wechlser said that they just needed to find the right people to do it. Several studios did not get how the two people in one body was going to translate to the big screen. They found the perfect actress who was able to accomplish that challenge. Stephenie says “she was so the right choice.”
