Several sites have picked up bits and pieces of Diane Kruger’s cover shoot and interview for March’s issue of ‘Manhattan’.

Just Jared was one of these sites. This is what this site reported Kruger said about her character of The Seeker from ‘The Host’:

On her character in The Host: “But really, is she a villain or not? That’s the question. I mean, even the other aliens find her strange. It was very strange to go from Versailles [for Farewell, My Queen] to Baton Rouge [where scenes from The Host were shot], from playing a historical figure to one with no reference, based only on the imagination where you can do anything.”

Life and Style Magazine also picked up some of the pictures of Kruger and a small excerpt from the interview:

“I’m a Star Trek, Star Wars person,” Diane tells Manhattan, admitting the movie was a perfect fit. The blonde beauty plays The Seeker — “Is she a villain or not? That’s the question,” she coyly shares.

I like the level of thought that she’s put into her character and, having seen the movie already, I can honestly praise the work she did in putting this character together. She does a spectacular job of bringing complexity to The Seeker.

Update 3/5: Modern Luxury reported the same interview as the above two. You can read it here.
